The VS17 Panel Marker is attached to tanks, trucks, rucksacks, troop locations and just about anything that needs to be identified from the air to ward off friendly fire. The VS17 Signal Panel, or Signal Panel Marker, is approximately 20" x 72" and is laid out on the ground to identify troop positions, or to identify where help is needed. The VS-17 Panel Marker comes equipped with tie downs for attachment to just about anything and has snaps so that multiple signal panels can be joined together. The VS-17 Signal Panel Marker has both a high visibility pink side and a high visibility orange side and is standard issue and recognized for identifying persons in distress to search teams and aircraft. The VS-17/GVX is a tough fabric that won't easily be torn from wind like other lighter weight panels. The VS17 Marker Panel is an essential piece of heavy-duty survival gear.
