Polarized lenses 14% of light passes through this lens. Blocks sunrays without causing color distortion. The addition of a polarizing filter increases clarity by reducing glare like water, snow, concrete and glass. Plus, they help to improve definition in bright conditions. Edge created the world’s first safety-rated polarized lenses in 1998. This reduced glare is ideal for environments with bright sun, snow, water, or sand. Polarized smoke lenses provide the perfect all-around tint for bright light conditions.
THIN TEMPLES - Thin temples integrate comfortably with helmets, hats or hearing protection. By reducing unnecessary bulk in the cross section of the temple, Edge created a more comfortable pair of eyewear. Eye protection shouldn’t be a burden.
MEGOL DETAILS - Thermoplastic rubber (TPR), or MEGOL, is a composite that becomes tacky when exposed to moisture. Strategically placed MEGOL details on the nose pieces or temple tips of these frames don’t slip around when you’re hard at work.
Meets AR670-1 uniform regulations for all military branches.
